Optimum VPS Server Settings

Hi

A bit of a newbie to the VPS (was on shared)

After reading this post by Lyne

Which is pretty far all i can really find on the matter...

Id like to know or be pointed in the right direction for the best enviroment for a VPS for a vB board

MySql version, PHP Version, CentOS version, PHP Compiled with (like Lynes post) etc etc etc
