Is there a place (here maybe) where there is a listing of common hacks. Just getting started, I don't really know for sure what I want and it would be nice to see a canonical listing of hacks so I can pick and choose what I think would suit my site.
Aside from that, which hacking resources are valuable? I've seen vbulletin.org, this site, and that's pretty much it. I don't want to go crazy, but I would like to make my site not so plain jane and out of the box as all of the other sites out there.

Also depends upon what your forum is about. If you are based off a yugioh, anime topic then adding more modifications really is a must since your target audience are much, much younger and need more than a good selection of forums to keep them entertained.
