Here is a list of some email addresses that you can ban from registering -- this should help cut down spam on your forum. These are emails commonly used by some spammers.

You can ban registrations by these emails by going to your ADMIN CP> vBulletin Options> User Banning Options

I was thinking the same thing. With some of the bigger free email providers who might be interested in protecting their reputaion, maybe it's worth a shot complaining to them if one (or more) of their registered users is perpetrating abuse. A case for an association of free-to-join forum owners?

I'm thinking wildcards should work.

*.ru or *.info

Give it a test.. use the wild card in the ACP then try signing up with one of those email addresses.

I was corrected by VB support on how I set my emails to ban I at first had them as
@xx.yy
@aa.bb

They corrected this as:
xx.yy aa.bb

Using two spaces between each

Is this correct?

As the two I had set do we need to input the @

I have confirmed on the VB site that no @ is needed
I have attached a .txt file that is flat with all the addresses imported with one space and no @

Simply copy and past into VB Admin
